KOTTAYAM: The Academic Conference on the Holy Qur'an, held at Mamman Mappila Hall, Kottayam, on September 19, 2024, concluded with a remarkable closing ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the centenary celebrations of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama.

The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, who highlighted the enduring relevance of the Holy Qur'an and its profound impact on society. The event saw the participation of distinguished guests, including Francis George MP, Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan MLA, C. Muhammad Faizy (Chairman, Hajj Committee), Dr. Abdul Hakim Azhari (General Secretary, SYS Kerala), Sayyid Twaha Thangal Saqafi (President, SYS Kerala), and Rahmatullah Saqafi (Vice President, SYS Kerala).

The conference focused on the theme "Exploring Holy Qur'aan: From Codification, Legacy, and Contributions to Contemporary Influences," bringing together researchers, scholars, and academics for insightful discussions.
