Calicut: The Jamiathul Hind Astronomy Workshop, titled Ilmul Falak, was successfully conducted in Kozhikode, offering students and researchers an in-depth exploration of astronomical sciences. The workshop featured expert-led sessions on both classical and modern astronomical concepts, blending traditional Islamic teachings with contemporary scientific advancements.

Participants delved into diverse topics, including classical astronomy, Tolami's theories, Newtonian and Einsteinian astrophysics and Islamic teachings, the lunar and solar cycles, and modern methods of determining the Qibla direction. Engaging discussions, hands-on demonstrations of astronomical instruments, and panel sessions enriched the learning experience.

The workshop was led by Muhammad Ali Saqafi Trikaripur, Abul Nasir Ahsani Olavattur, and Ashraf Baqavi Cherooppa, who provided valuable insights into the significance of astronomy in both scientific research and Islamic scholarship. A major highlight of the event was its focus on the book Madhal Ila Ilmikal Falak, published by Jamiathul Hind, which garnered significant attention from researchers and students alike.
